Your guests will be invited to take their seats for the wedding breakfast and will take a short and magical walk through the Italian Garden ready for the next part of your wedding day to unfold. Your caterers, stylists and florists will have been completing the set up secretly without your guests seeing it all happen! Our beautiful marquee is located in the "Secret Garden" called so because your guests won’t see it whilst it’s all being set up during the ceremony and drinks reception. Far enough away from prying eyes but just a short walk to reach.
Came House is your exclusive wedding weekend venue set in the heart of Dorset’s beautiful countryside yet we are a short drive to the Jurassic Coast. You can enjoy the best of both worlds with the Coast and Countryside right on your doorstep.
This is not just another wedding venue. We want Came to be an experience. Your experience. From the moment you get in touch until the moment you leave us (on cloud nine!) you will be looked after by our Came family. You will never forget your time at Came.
Our marquee is a bespoke traditional marquee with three beautiful timber poles measuring 12m x 24m (large enough to cater for x 200 for dining) with a hidden catering tent (6m x 9m) and walk in chiller for your drinks. High peaked roof. White festoon lighting (on dimmers) and fully equipped with a sound system for background dinner music and mics for speeches. An Oak dance floor for up to x 200 guests and a large stage to host anything up to a 10 piece show band. Panoramic windows on three sides all of which can come up on those balmy summer days. Bespoke white bar for your evening bar service. We even feature beautiful bespoke design and made luxury marquee loos.
A lot of the couples who choose to marry at Came are not based in this area but choose Dorset as their destination wedding location as this is such a beautiful and picturesque part of England.
